美服官方原文：

Turbine Download Manager (TDM) is no longer available. You do not need to take any action to discontinue use of TDM, as the program will automatically uninstall itself, leaving only your game client. A small number of users may experience issues uninstalling TDM. Should you experience any such issues, we advise users to manually uninstall TDM and their existing game client, and then reinstall the game client by clicking here. Please do not reinstall a previous version of TDM.

After TDM removes itself, if you need help creating a shortcut to the game client, please see the steps below:


Locate your The Lord of the Rings Online or Dungeons & Dragons Online installation folder.
Right Click on the “TurbineLauncher.exe” file and select “Create Shortcut”. This will create a shortcut file in your game install directory.
Copy the newly created shortcut file “TurbineLauncher.exe – Shortcut” to your desktop.
Depending upon the version of Windows, the new shortcut may also be named differently:
For example, on Windows XP it would be: “Shortcut to TurbineLauncher.exe”
Highly recommended: rename the shortcut to Start DDO, Play LOTRO, or something similar and easily identifiable
