Talk Like a Pirate Day
Talk Like A Pirate Day。
“Ahoy, me hearties!” 相当于 “Hello, my friends!”
“Shiver me timbers!”
“Weigh anchor!” 就是 “Let’s go!”
“Yarr.” 就是 “Yes.”
“Savvy?” 意思是 “Do you understand?”
“I’m gonna make a kill!” 意思是 “I’m serious about it!”
我正读着“How to use Digg to get traffic”,就随便让它翻译了一下:
Ahoy, how t’ Use Digg t’ Get Traffic A pence for an old man o’de sea?
Dirty John Rackham
You’re the pirate everyone else wants to throw in the ocean — not to get rid of you, you understand; just to get rid of the smell. You have the good fortune of having a good name, since Rackham (pronounced RACKem, not rack-ham) is one of the coolest sounding surnames for a pirate. Arr!
Aaaaaaaaaaaargh! |
